Registered Nurse - Surgical Ward

About the role

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai is recruiting one Registered Nurse for its surgical ward. The nurse provides and coordinates patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care while complying with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies and procedures.
• Create a conducive environment for positive patient experiences under the guidance of nursing leadership.
• Build employee competence by supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (essential).
• At least 3 years of recent clinical experience in a medical-surgical ward in a hospital setting (essential).
• Experience in the UAE / Middle East preferred.
• Basic Arabic language skills.
• Preference will be given to designated groups under the UAE Emiratization program; all applicants are considered.

Required skills

• Knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
