Relationship Manager – Trading Companies, Corporate & Investment Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding corporate relationships with trading companies, delivering a range of credit, treasury and investment banking solutions in line with Mashreq’s business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain existing relationships and originate new business within the target market.
• Structure and recommend appropriate credit facilities, including working capital, term finance, treasury and investment banking products.
• Achieve financial and non‑financial targets set in MBOs/KPIs.
• Develop existing accounts to maximise return on assets and share of wallet.
• Optimise balance‑sheet usage and portfolio structure.

Required profile

• Comprehensive understanding of the bank’s credit policy and operating systems.
• Ability to handle large, complex transactions independently.
• Strong marketing, credit and legal knowledge.
• Good knowledge of working capital, term finance, investment banking and treasury products.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Potential to progress to a Team Leader role.
• CA/MBA preferred with 5‑7 years of corporate finance or marketing experience.
