About the role

We are seeking a remote JavaScript and Python full‑stack developer to join a leading AI company. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining code that trains and optimizes advanced AI models for commercial and research applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality, efficient code for AI model training and optimization.
• Run evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with defined criteria.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, creating and curating task‑specific datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF) and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Ability to conduct thorough peer reviews of code and documentation.
• Familiarity with containerisation using Docker.
• Understanding of performance measurement tools and methodologies.
