Rental Executive – Car Rental Sales

About the role

The Rental Executive drives short‑term rental sales and builds strong relationships with individual and corporate clients at Thrifty Car Rental UAE. Acting as the primary point of contact at the rental counter, the role ensures accurate transaction processing, maximises up‑sell opportunities and delivers high‑quality customer service in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Use approved sales techniques to assess customer needs, recommend suitable rental solutions and sell optional products such as protection options, refueling programmes and upgrades.
• Prepare and process rental agreements accurately, review contracts with customers and manage documentation, reporting and financial reconciliation for vehicle returns.
• Coordinate queue management to minimise wait times, handle phone and email enquiries promptly, and provide local area information and assistance.
• Maintain daily reports, car requirement schedules, petty‑cash claims and fuel slips, and follow up on overdue rentals.
• Adhere to quality‑assurance standards, resolve customer issues within empowerment guidelines and propose new business ideas to management.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a customer‑facing sales role, preferably in car rental, hospitality or retail.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing contracts, rates and financial calculations.
• Professional, presentable demeanor and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
