Reporting & Consolidation Manager – Corporate Finance

About the role

Ali & Sons is seeking an experienced Reporting & Consolidation Manager to lead group financial reporting, consolidation and closing across a diversified portfolio of businesses. This senior finance professional will go beyond number‑crunching to connect data, challenge details, and continuously improve the group’s financial insight and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing, reporting and consolidation cycles for the Group.
• Own group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, adjustments and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, consistent and IFRS‑compliant across all entities.
• Review business‑unit submissions, challenge significant variances and safeguard data quality.
• Act as the Group reference for IFRS, accounting policies and complex transactions.
• Support assessments related to restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and other major events.
• Provide clear financial analysis and commentary to senior leadership.
• Partner with finance teams, auditors and business leaders to resolve reporting and audit matters.
• Drive automation, system enhancements and process improvements to reduce manual work.
• Lead, develop and build the capability of the Reporting & Consolidation team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit or financial control, with at least 5 years in group reporting, consolidation or external audit.
• Experience in a diversified, multi‑entity or multinational group is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
