Reservations Agent – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle all reservation requests for Marriott Al Forsan, ensuring guests receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience. This full‑time position works directly with guests via phone, fax, and email, supporting the hotel's revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests and accommodate guest preferences.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input correct codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale reservations.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and support a positive guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation software and data entry.
