Reservations Agent

About the role

Paramount Hotels Dubai is looking for a Reservations Agent to handle high volumes of sales and service queries accurately and impartially, across telephone, fax and email. The role also involves proactively selling and upselling products and services within the property.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company by following its standard operating procedures
• Handle queries through telephone, fax and email
• Make reservations for customers according to their requirements
• Support customers who need to amend or cancel a reservation
• Prepare letters of confirmation
• Maximize sales and assist internal, external and future customers with the highest level of service
• Carry out related tasks such as filing correspondence, handling customer complaints and updating reports

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of reservations experience in a luxury 5-star hotel
• Previous experience in a multicultural environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera PMS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
