Reservations Agent

About the role

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel in Dubai, is looking for a professional, customer-focused Reservations Agent. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping them book rooms smoothly and providing accurate information about the property and its surroundings.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to room reservation inquiries by phone, email and other channels.
• Book accommodations for guests across leisure, business travel and group segments.
• Record reservation details accurately in the Property Management System.
• Upsell room types and additional services to maximise revenue while meeting guest needs.
• Give guests detailed information on the property, amenities and local attractions in the UAE.
• Work with other departments so that guest requests and special requirements are met.
• Handle changes, cancellations and special requests, and assist in resolving complaints.
• Keep up to date on room availability, rates and promotions, and help improve reservation processes.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in reservations or sales, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent command of English; Russian or Turkish is a plus.
• Professional telephone etiquette and strong written communication.
• Typing speed of around 40 words per minute.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Property management systems such as Opera.
• Microsoft Office.
• Problem-solving, decision-making and teamwork.
