Resolution Representative – Retail

About the role

The Resolution Representative works at the IKEA YAS Island store, overseeing the information desk and the Returns & Exchange desk. You will greet shoppers, assist with transactions, and ensure a smooth, safe shopping experience for families and children.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, provide bags or trolleys, and explain store policies.
• Handle cash, cheque, credit‑card and voucher payments following SOPs.
• Process returns and exchanges, applying generous and quick policies.
• Record and reconcile daily cash floats and prepare transaction reports.
• Monitor the Smaland play area, make announcements, and prioritize child safety.
• Detect product faults or safety issues and report them.
• Brief the Duty Manager on escalated complaints.
• Prepare periodic sales and performance reports.
• Book IKEA services for customers as needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, professional attitude with strong customer‑service focus.
• Ability to follow cash‑handling procedures accurately.
• Good judgment for handling returns, exchanges and complaints.
• Attention to safety, especially in the children’s play area.
