About the role

Daikan Izakaya is looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead its City Walk location. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, and creating a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to front-of-house and back-of-house teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, coordinating service flow and maintaining quality standards.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, developing training programs to enhance performance.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and continuously improve the customer experience.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth through marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Supervise inventory management, ordering, and stock level maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong customer-service orientation and passion for dining.
• Financial acumen with ability to drive revenue and control costs.
• Analytical mindset for data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in the hospitality sector.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
