Restaurant Operations Manager

About the role

A licensed restaurant concept in Abu Dhabi is looking for a hands-on, operations-driven Restaurant Manager who turns business direction into consistent daily execution. The ideal candidate builds structure, connects departments and drives operational and service excellence across the restaurant and the central office.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain daily routines, SOPs, checklists, KPIs and control systems for consistent execution.
• Connect restaurant operations with marketing, procurement, warehouse, finance, HR and the central office, ensuring timely delivery and clear accountability.
• Maintain a well-presented restaurant through proactive maintenance, contractor management and quick resolution of technical and aesthetic issues.
• Develop and manage entertainment programmes aligned with the concept, target guests and commercial goals.
• Study guest behaviour and feedback to improve service standards, engagement and sales opportunities.
• Drive operational KPIs, expenses, stock, staffing, payments and execution quality.
• Prioritise the restaurant product, position it effectively and drive sales through service team engagement.
• Build a supportive team culture and implement continuous improvements to the operating system.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing restaurant or F&B operations with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Experience working with restaurant teams and central-office support functions.
• Strong understanding of operational KPIs, cost control, procurement, inventory, staffing and service standards.
• Ability to deliver results with limited resources.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, people-focused leader who connects people, processes and departments.
