Restaurant Reservations Agent

About the role

The Restaurant Reservations Agent ensures a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests by managing all reservation enquiries across the hotel’s restaurants. Working within One&Only Royal Mirage, you will act as the primary point of contact for guests, guiding them to suitable dining times and handling any changes or issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Answer reservation enquiries via phone, email and online platforms.
• Accurately record and manage bookings using the Quadrant reservation system.
• Assist guests in selecting appropriate dining slots and suggest alternatives when needed.
• Communicate restaurant policies, procedures and special event information to guests.
• Optimize table turnover by efficiently scheduling reservations.
• Handle over‑bookings, cancellations and changes with professionalism.
• Maintain organized reservation records and generate trend reports.
• Prepare internal memos for special events such as guest cocktails.

Required profile

• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and dining outlets.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Punctuality and adherence to the department duty roster.
• Compliance with grooming, uniform, health and safety standards.
• Ability to follow Forbes Travel Guide and LQA reservation standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation software, specifically Quadrant.
