Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor will lead the front‑of‑house team in a fast‑paced Dubai restaurant, ensuring seamless service from opening to closing. This role combines operational oversight with guest‑focused problem solving, supporting the Restaurant Manager in delivering a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and coach waiting staff, hosts and bar staff to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, managing reservations, seating plans and dining‑room flow.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guest feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in training new and existing team members on menus, service standards and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety in line with local regulations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with staff scheduling, inventory control and daily sales reporting.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings to communicate specials, targets and operational updates.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in a high‑quality, fast‑paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities with a focus on inspiring diverse staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, dedicated to superior customer service.
• Ability to stay calm, organized and effective under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Genuine passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
