Room Service Production Assistant (Commis 2)

About the role

The Commis 2 supports the Rooms Service Production team by preparing ingredients, cooking, and ensuring food quality and safety. This position works in a fast‑paced hotel kitchen environment, following strict recipes and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients; wash and peel fresh produce.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and complete food preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test and monitor food for proper cooking, temperature, and quality.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related kitchen or food‑service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions for an entire shift.
• Commitment to follow company safety, security, and hygiene policies.
