Safety & Security Coordinator

About the role

CHANEL is looking for a Safety & Security Coordinator in Dubai to support the day-to-day safety and security operations that protect its people, boutiques, assets and brand across the UAE. Working closely with the Head of Safety & Security and key business stakeholders, the coordinator coordinates operational activities, monitors compliance, supports investigations and incident management, and helps implement safety and security standards across locations. The role offers exposure to luxury retail, corporate risk management, regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day safety and security activities across CHANEL boutiques, offices and other locations in the UAE, and conduct regular site visits to track corrective actions.
• Support incident response, documentation, escalation and follow-up, and coordinate security investigations including evidence gathering and report preparation.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety and security procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate safety and security arrangements for new locations, renovations, special events and other business projects.
• Monitor compliance with UAE safety, security and regulatory requirements, maintain compliance records (safety inspections, Civil Defense certifications, Occupational Health Cards) and follow up on regulatory inspections.
• Plan and deliver safety and security training and awareness activities, and support communications, guidelines and awareness campaigns.
• Coordinate with security and other service providers, review service documentation and reports, and assist with procurement, quotations and purchase orders.

Required profile

• University degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, Criminology, International Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate security, safety, risk management, luxury retail or a related operational environment.
• Previous experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors or operational activities.
• Working knowledge of UAE safety and security regulatory requirements is preferred.

Required skills

• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic or French is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Analytical and reporting skills, strong organisational skills and good interpersonal communication.
