Sales and Brand Partnerships Manager - Films, OTT and TV

About the role

Sky Blue Media is looking for a media and entertainment professional in sales, brand solutions, brand partnerships and product placements (PPLs) to build and scale its brand SkyBlue Cinematix in China while being based in Dubai. The role is full-time, five days a week, and is a work-from-office position in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Map the China market for brands and their agencies, and understand their positioning and upcoming campaigns
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for in-film brand integrations, co-branded promotions and media alliances in China
• Build long-term relationships with brand executives and agency SPOCs in China
• Understand each film project, including its scope, cast, plot and format (theatrical, OTT or TV serial)
• Conceptualize creative brand solutions aligned with storylines and target audiences, and pitch them to brands and agencies
• Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, presentations and case studies, and work with media planning and buying teams on campaign alignment
• Negotiate and finalize deals with manager support, and coordinate with creative, marketing, legal and production teams
• Track performance metrics, prepare post-integration reports and work on client retention

Required profile

• 8-15 years of proven success in business development, sales, brand partnerships or strategic partnerships in media, entertainment or advertising, with understanding of the China market
• Track record of closing multi-crore, multi-film or franchise partnerships
• Deep relationships with brand managers, agencies and production houses
• MBA or PG in Marketing, Media or Business preferred
