Sales Engineer - Facilities Management

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Sales Engineer for a facilities management (FM) company in Dubai. The role bridges technical expertise and client relations: you explain the technical aspects of the company's services to clients, understand their needs and propose tailored solutions covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial and more.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client needs through meetings and site visits, then develop customised FM solutions and detailed proposals with scope, timelines and cost estimates.
• Deliver technical presentations, translating complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders and answering technical questions.
• Develop sales strategies, set targets, research markets and competitors, and manage the sales pipeline.
• Work with engineering, operations, project management and marketing teams, and give feedback to product development teams.
• Negotiate contracts, define technical and commercial terms, and work with legal teams on compliance.
• Maintain post-sale relationships, coordinate with service delivery teams, and seek upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Monitor the market, gather client feedback and report on sales activity, pipeline and revenue projections.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or related), Facilities Management or Business Administration.
• Sales experience, preferably in the FM industry or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with technical sales and client relationship management.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of facilities management services, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Negotiation, communication and presentation skills; ability to close deals and manage client relationships.
• Analytical problem-solving and customer focus.
