Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will support the Area Sales Manager in Dubai, managing and developing assigned territories and customers for Lucy Electric. The role combines technical and commercial activities, including opportunity tracking, customer engagement, tender preparation and pipeline management. The position requires regular field visits and coordination with internal teams to deliver quotations and support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales strategy and achieve targets in allocated markets and customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, identifying new projects through market intelligence and cold‑calling.
• Conduct 7‑8 customer visits per week, deliver product presentations and support tender submissions.
• Coordinate with Tendering, Product Management, Engineering and Operations to prepare accurate quotations and documentation.
• Handover purchase orders to Operations and attend Factory Acceptance Tests when required.
• Maintain CRM data, prepare sales activity reports and ensure timely follow‑up on opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience selling medium‑voltage electrical distribution equipment or in sales engineering.
• Proven experience dealing with utilities, contractors, consultants or EPC firms.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
