Sales Engineer – Solar Power Systems

About the role

The Solar Sales Engineer will develop sales opportunities for solar and hybrid power solutions while providing customers with informed technical and commercial guidance. You will translate customer requirements into suitable system integration proposals and manage the sales process from enquiry to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities for solar and hybrid power solutions in the UAE.
• Assess customer requirements and support the development of appropriate solar systems integration solutions.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand business needs and maintain productive relationships.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Achieve agreed sales targets while ensuring commercially sustainable business.
• Maintain accurate and current customer, opportunity and sales records.
• Monitor market and competitor activity and share commercial insights with the sales management team.
• Participate in product and sales training to keep technical and commercial knowledge up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• A valid UAE driving licence.
• At least five years of sales experience in the UAE solar systems integration industry.
• A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
