Sales Manager - Events & Exhibitions

About the role

Careers International is looking for an ambitious, results-driven Sales Manager to lead its sales team and generate new business for an events company. The manager develops and executes a strategic sales plan to grow the client base, increase market share and ensure client satisfaction. The position is based in Dubai and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy: develop and implement a sales strategy to reach revenue targets and expand the client portfolio, identifying new opportunities and markets
• Client acquisition and retention: find and win new clients through networking and cold calling, and build long-term relationships with existing clients
• Team leadership: lead, mentor and train a team of sales representatives, helping them reach their goals
• Market research: study industry trends, competitors and customers to adjust sales approaches
• Proposals and contracts: oversee customised proposals and negotiate contracts that meet the company's financial objectives
• Sales reporting: track conversion rates, pipeline status and revenue growth and report to senior management
• Collaboration and service: work with marketing, event planning and operations teams and ensure client satisfaction

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the events industry
• At least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the events industry
