About the role
The Sales Manager – Exhibition will lead the acquisition and growth of key client accounts within the exhibitions and events sector in Dubai. The role focuses on generating revenue through sponsorship and exhibition solutions while ensuring high client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high‑value accounts, acting as the primary contact throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
- Achieve and exceed individual revenue and profit targets by identifying upselling, cross‑selling and renewal opportunities.
- Conduct consultative meetings to understand client objectives and develop tailored partnership proposals.
- Proactively prospect new business, build pipelines and expand the event portfolio.
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows, providing onsite support to exhibitors and sponsors.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, operations and sales teams to align client needs with event delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market developments to inform strategy.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Required profile
- Proven experience in exhibitions, events, sponsorship sales or B2B account management.
- Strong track record of managing key accounts and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach.
