Sales Manager – InsurTech Start‑Up

About the role

Join a DFSA‑approved, pre‑revenue InsurTech start‑up that is launching the first digital facultative reinsurance platform in the MENA region. You will own the commercial function, building pipelines, closing deals and shaping the go‑to‑market strategy across the UAE, GCC and wider MENA.

Key responsibilities

• Own and build a client pipeline across cedants, reinsurers, brokers and MGAs in the region.
• Define engagement approaches, drive negotiations and secure signatures.
• Maintain CRM as the single source of truth and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial reports.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from outreach and demos to LOI, contracting and onboarding.
• Capture prospect and client feedback to inform product roadmap and monitor market intelligence.
• Represent the company at industry events, with regulators, partners and investors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SaaS or fintech sales experience with a proven record of closing enterprise or institutional clients.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to translate complex technical platforms into commercial value.
• Proactive, self‑directed with strong ownership instincts and a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
• Experience building structured sales pipelines, forecasting and target‑setting.
• Background in insurance, reinsurance or related value‑chain is a plus.
