Sales & Marketing Executive – Foodstuff Wholesale

About the role

U M A I STAR GENERAL TRADING L.L.C, a foodstuff wholesaler based in Dubai, is looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Executive to grow its customer base and strengthen brand presence across the UAE market. The role blends direct sales to retailers, HORECA and distributors with marketing initiatives that generate leads and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets across assigned territories and accounts.
• Identify, onboard and manage new customers including retail chains, independent grocers, restaurants and distributors; conduct product presentations and negotiate terms.
• Plan and implement in‑store promotions, sampling campaigns, POS placement and local trade events to raise product awareness.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports and use CRM or order‑tracking tools to manage the pipeline.
• Coordinate with logistics, operations and finance teams to ensure order fulfilment and resolve customer issues.
• Represent the company at customer visits and trade events, traveling within the UAE/GCC as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years sales experience in FMCG, food distribution or hospitality supply within the UAE or GCC.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing B2B accounts.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, comfortable with price and terms negotiations.
• Good knowledge of retail and HORECA channels, distributor dynamics and commercial trade practices in the UAE.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
