Sales Supervisor – Retail (Mina Zayed)

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will lead the shop‑floor team at Toys ’R’ Us in Mina Zayed, ensuring smooth daily operations, strong sales performance and excellent customer service. Reporting to store management, you will act as the bridge between staff and senior leadership, driving both business results and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits and register management.
• Maintain optimal floor coverage during peak periods and act as a sales role model.
• Support client and business development by coaching the team on product knowledge and clienteling tools.
• Prepare and analyse sales reports, conduct product training and assist with business initiatives.
• Process POS transactions, inventory transfers, receiving, repairs and damages while ensuring loss‑prevention compliance.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and exchanges, and mediate performance issues between staff and management.
• Uphold store presentation standards and act as an ambassador for the Toys ’R’ Us brand.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year experience in retail or hospitality in a senior sales or supervisory role.
• Strong command of business English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated numeracy, literacy and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using SAP for inventory and reporting.
• Competence in operating POS systems and managing inventory transactions.
