Sales Support Specialist - Emirati Talents

About the role

ABB is hiring a Sales Support Specialist in Dubai, reporting to the Sales Manager of the Analytical UAE, KW, IQ, PK, OM region. The role supports the assigned sales organisation and customers during the proposal process and acts as a key technical resource in the area. It contributes to the AUMA Measurement & Analytics / Analytics / Sales function in the UAE and is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Offer technical advice and solutions on customer, channel and sales specialist inquiries about ABB products, systems and applications.
• Perform analytical and diagnostic studies to find the optimal technical solution for customer needs and complex inquiries.
• Develop and maintain new sales opportunities, resolve customer problems and ensure targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV) and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Ensure budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, are met across assigned product groups and countries.
• Prepare technical product descriptions, determine costs and prepare final documentation.

Required profile

• 0-2 years of experience, or a fresh graduate, preferably in engineering specialisations such as electrical, electronics, mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel.
• Comfortable communicating in English and Arabic.
• Passion for customer support and accuracy in work.

• Use of tools required for product selection and financial cost modelling.
