Sales Support Specialist

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to keep the sales engine running smoothly. You will handle administrative and coordination tasks, manage customer inquiries, and ensure accurate data in our systems so the sales team can focus on closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team with account setup, lead management, and data entry to keep customer records accurate.
• Respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up on orders for a smooth customer experience.
• Handle order entries, confirmations, and updates in the CRM to ensure timely processing.
• Prepare sales reports, track KPIs, and maintain records that help the team hit their targets.
• Create presentations, proposals, and other sales materials for team and client meetings.
• Gather information on competitors, market trends, and customer needs in collaboration with the sales team.
• Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer service to resolve issues around orders, invoicing, or product availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, or a similar administrative role.
• Detail‑oriented, organised, proactive and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of CRM systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
