About the role
We are looking for a high‑energy Sales Trainer with deep experience in the food‑and‑beverage FMCG market. You will design, deliver and continuously improve sales training programs for field, traditional trade and modern trade teams, driving skill development and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop localized training curricula that reflect regional retail dynamics and consumer trends.
- Conduct on‑the‑ride coaching sessions with sales representatives to observe and improve real‑world execution.
- Train teams on perfect‑store execution, Share of Shelf, planogram compliance and POSM visibility.
- Facilitate classroom workshops and virtual sessions using adult‑learning methodologies.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across traditional, modern and food‑service channels.
- Perform post‑training assessments and provide actionable feedback to sales managers.
- Track progress with CRM and Distributor Management Systems, maintaining dashboards on certifications and field‑readiness.
- Analyse skills gaps and create training modules on B2B sales, negotiation, route‑to‑market and objection handling.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on sales experience in the F&B FMCG sector.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach or instructional designer.
- Professional training certifications (e.g., ATD, CIPD, Certified Sales Trainer) are highly preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or SAP.
- Experience using Distributor Management Systems (DMS).
- Familiarity with e‑learning/LMS platforms.
- Strong analytical ability to parse commercial sales reports and translate data into training content.
