SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant in the UAE to support a major SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programme. The consultant provides functional expertise across SAP Finance and business process transformation, working at both functional and project-governance levels with Finance leadership, IT teams, SAP specialists and the implementation partner.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full SAP Finance implementation lifecycle, from discovery and process assessment through configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Lead and contribute to fit-to-standard workshops, requirements clarification and solution design.
• Configure and validate SAP S/4HANA Finance functionality in line with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Review solution designs, configurations and deliverables from the implementation partner and raise constructive challenges where needed.
• Work with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, IT and business process owners to turn operational needs into SAP solutions.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, integration testing, UAT, cutover and go-live.
• Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolutions.
• Contribute to Finance master data, controls, security, audit and compliance.
• Support integrations with Procurement, Sales, HR/Payroll and third-party applications, and assist with UAE VAT, e-invoicing and regulatory reporting where applicable.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation and post-go-live support to internal teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant SAP Finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Practical experience across workshops, configuration, testing, defect management, migration, cutover and hypercare.
• UAE VAT and wider GCC finance experience is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration and implementation.
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience highly desirable.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA Cloud, Financial Accounting, SAP BTP or SAP architecture are advantageous.
