Scaffolding Foreman – Lead EPC Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Foreman to lead and supervise all scaffolding activities on major EPC oil & gas projects. The role ensures safe erection, modification, inspection and dismantling of scaffolds, access platforms and temporary structures while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily scaffolding erection, modification and dismantling according to approved drawings and load ratings.
• Verify scaffold supports, bracing, tie‑ins and anchoring to ensure stability and safety.
• Lead and manage scaffolders, helpers, riggers and subcontractor personnel, allocating work and monitoring performance.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre‑job briefings and safety discussions; mentor team on best practices.
• Enforce HSE policies, Permit‑to‑Work, PPE compliance and conduct Job Safety Analyses and risk assessments.
• Inspect scaffolds before use, identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage scaffolding materials, tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage, handling and maintenance.
• Liaise with engineering, construction and other disciplines to align scaffolding solutions with project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising scaffolding operations on large‑scale EPC projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, BS EN 12811).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
