About the role
The School of Modern Skills is looking for a qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to support students' wellbeing and academic success. The postholder works with teachers, parents and administrators to address social, emotional and behavioural challenges that affect learning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling to support student wellbeing
- Collaborate on IEPs and student support plans
- Address attendance, behavioural and social-emotional issues
- Liaise with families and community agencies
- Promote child protection and a positive school climate
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent; Master's preferred
- Bilingual in English and Arabic
- UAE nationals: no experience required (school experience preferred)
- Non-UAE nationals: minimum 2 years of school-based experience
