Scientist - Regulatory Affairs (Middle East & Africa)

About the role

P&G is hiring a Regulatory Affairs Scientist for its Dubai office, reporting to the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs Middle East & Africa. The role covers the Middle East and Africa countries and focuses on regulatory compliance and market access for products, from strategy through product submissions and registrations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day regulatory affairs activities for assigned areas of responsibility, working autonomously but in line with the local manager.
• Monitor the regulatory environment across the Middle East and assess the impact of new and changing regulations.
• Ensure global, regional and local processes, policies, SOPs and working instructions are in place and followed.
• Prepare and submit registration dossiers, handle variations and renewals, and liaise with health authorities, distributors and regulatory authorities.
• Compile and submit regulatory submissions and respond to questions from regulatory agencies, following country-specific requirements.
• Maintain regulatory files and records, including archiving documentation in the company system.
• Review product artwork, promotional material and tools for conformity with marketing codes and legal requirements.
• Lead, monitor and communicate project risks, track application progress against timelines and report status to stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• 0-1 years of experience in pharmaceutical or personal healthcare regulatory work.
• Arabic and English.
• Experience with pharma and/or consumer healthcare products.

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to build relationships across departments and work collaboratively.
