Scrum Master – Agile Delivery Lead

About the role

The Scrum Master will lead the Agile delivery of RAK Digital’s government‑wide digital services platform. Acting as a servant‑leader and coach, you will ensure Agile practices are correctly understood, events are time‑boxed, and the team continuously improves its ability to deliver valuable increments on a predictable cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture Agile development methodology across product, delivery, technology, QA and government stakeholders.
• Facilitate all Scrum events, ensuring they are purposeful, time‑boxed and outcome‑focused.
• Manage cross‑team handoffs, release gates and UAT readiness through disciplined, transparent mechanisms.
• Remove organisational impediments and protect the team’s focus to enable self‑management.
• Support delivery across internal teams and external vendors, aligning work with scope, Definition of Done, quality gates and release governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 3 years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Proven track record facilitating Agile events and coaching teams to improve predictability and quality.
• Experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments, preferably in the public sector or regulated contexts.
• Professional Scrum Master certification (PSM I) required; advanced certifications (PSM II/III, SAFe, LeSS) are a plus.
