Sector Director – Mission Critical (Data Centre Focus)

About the role

WSP is seeking a Sector Director to lead its Mission Critical portfolio across the Middle East, with a primary focus on data centre projects. In this senior position you will shape regional strategy, drive market expansion and ensure delivery excellence for high‑performance, resilient infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional vision and growth strategy for mission‑critical data centres.
• Own sector architecture, value proposition, priority accounts and partner strategy.
• Establish scorecards and governance to monitor pipeline, conversion, margin and delivery performance.
• Champion cross‑practice collaboration across Advisory, Engineering, Sustainability and Digital teams.
• Position WSP as the partner of choice for hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre clients.
• Strengthen relationships with key clients and ensure exceptional satisfaction.
• Oversee high‑quality consulting and engineering service delivery, meeting P&L targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of relevant experience in mission‑critical or data centre sectors.
• Proven senior leadership and P&L management experience.
• Strong track record of winning and growing strategic client relationships.
• Ability to develop and execute go‑to‑market plans and capability roadmaps.
• Excellent strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
