Security Operations Center Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our 24/7 security team. The analyst will monitor alerts, triage incidents, and help protect the organization from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM dashboards and security alerts for suspicious activity.
• Perform initial triage, classification, and documentation of security incidents.
• Escalate confirmed threats to Tier 2/3 analysts following established procedures.
• Analyze logs from endpoints, network, and cloud environments.
• Support vulnerability scanning and patch‑tracking initiatives.
• Participate in shift‑based coverage, including nights, weekends, and on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and operating‑system fundamentals (Windows, Linux).
• Familiarity with common security concepts such as malware, phishing, and attack vectors.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, alert‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Log analysis across endpoints, network, and cloud systems.
• Vulnerability scanning and patch tracking.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls.
• Operating‑system knowledge: Windows and Linux.
