Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor protects and safeguards hotel guests, employees, their belongings and all hotel assets under the guidance of the Chief Security Officer. The role assists in coordinating security operations in line with Wyndham standards to ensure efficiency, guest satisfaction and a positive work culture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform at least one patrol each shift across all property areas and report any irregularities to the CSO.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical‑hazard safety inspections, investigations, interviews, security grooming and key control.
• Maintain accurate records such as Security Log, Incident Report, Key Control, Lost & Found, Quarantine list, Visitor Passes and gate passes.
• Investigate and produce unbiased incident reports on thefts, accidents, injuries, property damage, vandalism or trespassing involving guests, visitors or employees.
• Manage the security department in the absence of the Chief Security Officer, delivering safe, courteous and professional service in line with hotel standards.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of hotel services and products with the ability to advise guests and staff.
• Minimum five years of experience in the security field.
• Valid Security Supervisor licence (SIRA) and extensive knowledge of security protocols.
• Excellent management, supervisory, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train staff on security policies and handle confidential information.
