Senior Accountant – Compliance, Controls & Multi‑Entity Consolidation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead end‑to‑end accounting activities across multiple legal entities in the UAE. The role focuses on financial reporting, compliance with UAE tax regulations, internal controls, risk management, and multi‑entity consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for several entities, including AP, AR, bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Handle multi‑entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations and related journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and other regulatory requirements, supporting tax filings and audit documentation.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, identify accounting and compliance risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA) preferred.
• 5–8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or group environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS and accounting standards.
• Proven experience with consolidation, intercompany accounting and financial reporting.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Understanding of internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.
