Senior Accountant – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Abu Dhabi school group. The role supports financial excellence across the school, working closely with the Principal and HQ finance team to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Accounts Receivable GL accounts are accurate and collections are made within due dates.
• Support the Principal in building and modifying the school budget and reviewing monthly MIS.
• Invoice tuition fees, exam fees, trips and other charges accurately and on schedule.
• Call parents daily to follow up on payments and issue receipts for bank reconciliation.
• Manage petty cash in line with company policies and delegation of authority.
• Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budget preparation and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance function or a professional qualification with at least 2 years in a similar role.

Required skills

• Advanced Accounting Principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
