Senior Accountant

About the role

Design Concepts Global is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its UAE team. The role focuses on the construction and fit‑out sector, requiring deep knowledge of local accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage the General Ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and aging reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring accounting compliance.
• Handle UAE VAT calculations, filings, cash‑flow monitoring and financial process improvements.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and maintain accurate financial records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• Mandatory experience in UAE construction or fit‑out companies.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GL, AP/AR, budgeting and reconciliations.
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
