Senior Accountant

About the role

3S Capital, a private investment and operating group active in construction, real estate development and manufacturing, is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial records and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records through journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and general ledger transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing so that transactions are recorded, reconciled and reported on time.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and management information, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with tax regulations.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Keep financial records organised and audit-ready, and review data for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with finance colleagues and other teams to resolve accounting issues and support ad hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 7-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations is preferred.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred).
• Strong accounting, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

What we offer

• Salary of AED 12,000-14,000 per month.
