Senior Accountant

About the role

Finsync Accountants & Consultants is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee accounting operations for multiple clients, prepare financial statements, manage tax compliance and keep financial records accurate. The role suits someone with strong technical knowledge, independence and experience handling several client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
• Handle month-end and year-end closing
• Manage UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance, including preparation and filing
• Conduct account reconciliations and keep accurate records
• Analyse financial information and prepare reports for clients
• Ensure records comply with accounting standards and regulations
• Advise clients on financial matters and coordinate client accounting activities and deadlines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Experience in an accounting, audit or consultancy firm is an added advantage

Required skills

• Accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Tally
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
• Good understanding of UAE accounting practices, bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Communication and client relationship management skills
