Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

flydubai is looking for a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in Dubai. The role supports the financial planning, analysis and reporting functions of the organisation and provides insight into financial performance, trends and forecasts to support decision-making at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts based on historical performance, industry trends and strategic initiatives
• Work with department heads and senior management to gather input, validate assumptions and consolidate forecasts
• Monitor budget performance and explain variances to ensure financial goals are met
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Develop and maintain financial models and run scenario analysis and sensitivity testing
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support to senior management and business units
• Take part in capital investment and cost optimisation projects
• Design standardised and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and analytics in FP&A systems
• Perform budgetary checks on purchase requisitions and procurement orders, including accurate cost accounting codes
• Ensure administrative tools in FP&A applications work correctly and SLAs are met

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (3+ years); degree in Finance, Financial Management, Economics or Cost Accounting
• Fluent in English
• At least 2 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in FP&A or a related field
• Experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting is highly desirable
• 5 to 7 years of overall experience
• Compliance with the company's ISR policies and completion of ISR awareness sessions
