Senior Associate Landscape Architect

About the role

The Senior Associate Landscape Architect is a senior leadership role based in Dubai, responsible for designing, managing and delivering complex landscape architecture and public realm projects across the UAE, the wider Middle East and other regional markets. The role combines design leadership, project delivery, commercial management, client engagement and team development, working closely with the Director of Landscape Architecture and Associate Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead landscape and public realm projects from bid through concept design, detailed design, approvals, tender documentation and construction support
• Manage multiple complex projects, their programmes, budgets, resources, risks and deliverables, and monitor financial performance and profitability
• Lead client presentations, design reviews and stakeholder engagement, and act as primary client contact on key projects
• Mentor and develop Lead Associates, Senior Landscape Architects, Landscape Architects, Graduates and BIM professionals
• Promote AI tools, BIM and digital workflows, and use Vantagepoint for project planning, resource management and reporting

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience in landscape architecture
• Experience leading complex projects and managing multidisciplinary teams; UAE and/or KSA project experience preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture; postgraduate degree preferred
• Professional chartership or accreditation preferred (CMLI, ASLA, AILA, LI or equivalent)

• CAD and BIM: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation
• 3D modelling and visualisation: SketchUp, Rhino (Grasshopper), Lumion, Enscape or D5 Render
• Scheduling and office tools: MS Project, MS Office Suite
• Graphics and presentation: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Vantagepoint (desirable); Land F/X, ArcGIS/QGIS and AI tools (desirable)
