Senior Associate, Procurement Excellence

About the role

The Senior Associate, Procurement Excellence will support the execution of key procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and help optimise procurement processes. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency through strategic sourcing, supplier compliance, and continuous improvement projects that drive cost savings and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring best value for goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing changes.
• Identify potential supply‑chain risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct cost analyses and prepare reports on procurement performance, savings and improvement areas.
• Ensure procurement contracts are documented, stored and managed throughout their lifecycle.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve issues or disputes.
• Maintain and update the procurement database with accurate records.

Required profile

• Experience supporting procurement activities, supplier evaluation and contract management.
• Ability to monitor and assess supplier performance and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills for cost analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of risk identification and mitigation in supply chains.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and vendors.
