Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer with at least five years of post‑qualification experience to join our growing practice in Dubai. The successful candidate will work on high‑value, cross‑border transactions for financial institutions, sponsors, corporates and funds in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of banking and finance transactions, including syndicated lending, acquisition finance and structured finance.
• Draft, review and negotiate facility agreements and related security documentation.
• Support regulatory and advisory matters within the banking and financial services sector.
• Manage transactions independently while collaborating closely with partners and clients.
• Coordinate with international counsel on cross‑border deals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years PQE in banking and finance law.
• Strong background in general banking and finance transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client‑management abilities.
• Proven capacity to handle multiple complex matters under tight deadlines.
• Offshore experience preferred but not mandatory; exposure to international or cross‑border transactions is advantageous.
