Senior Buyer – Fashion Category

About the role

The Senior Buyer will own a key product category for Gloria Jeans, overseeing the full lifecycle from assortment planning to supplier management and product development. This is a Dubai‑based position with relocation support and international travel to factories and sourcing offices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the buying strategy, balancing commercial goals with market trends.
• Plan category assortment, price tiers and depth of offer.
• Manage and grow a multi‑country supplier base, including international travel to factories.
• Negotiate pricing, costs and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor product development, fittings and quality through to bulk approval.
• Forecast demand, manage in‑season inventory, orders and re‑orders to protect sell‑through and margin.
• Track sales performance and KPIs by style, vendor and market to inform buying decisions.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally with design, merchandising, marketing, supply chain, retail and e‑commerce teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Buyer in apparel or fashion retail, preferably fast‑fashion.
• Full ownership of assortment, budget and supplier relationships.
• Experience working at a company headquarters, not only regional or supplier‑facing offices.
• Proven international supplier negotiation experience (Europe, Asia, Turkey).
• Fluent English (C1); Russian or Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai and travel internationally.

• Strong analytical skills with sales, margin and KPI analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with PLM systems.
