Senior CAD Drafting Modeler – Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior CAD Drafting Modeler to develop and manage high‑quality utility CAD models and drawings for major infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D Autodesk models and drawings for utilities and road networks, including plans, elevations, sections and shop drawings.
• Lead and mentor a team of modelers/CAD technicians, assigning tasks, reviewing work and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate the flow of technical documents between engineering, site teams and other stakeholders.
• Maintain organized filing systems, indexes and generate reports as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure/utilities drafting and supervision.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong practical experience with Autodesk 2D drafting for utilities and road networks.
• Experience preparing TPD planning approval drawings (service corridors, routes, roads).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and ensure high‑quality output.
