Senior Critical Care Consultant – Modern ICU, UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity ICU and seeks a Senior Critical Care Consultant. Key responsibilities

• Lead management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Provide advanced organ support including ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination and sepsis care.
• Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy and allied health teams.
• Guide family communication, goals‑of‑care discussions and ethical decision‑making.
• Support ICU protocols, infection prevention, audit, simulation training and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification in Critical Care Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Diploma, Royal College, Australian CICM, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience managing high‑acuity ICU patients and leading multidisciplinary teams.
