Senior Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

iConnect IT Business Solutions, a UAE‑based MSSP, is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to own the technical side of its security business, from presales to SOC operations, and to lead the security engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution architecture and RFP/RFI responses for enterprise and public‑sector clients.
• Plan and execute proof‑of‑concepts in client environments across endpoint security, privileged access, data classification, DLP, email security, vulnerability management and offensive validation.
• Own the SOC platform, including data collection, storage architecture, custom parsers, correlation rules, multi‑tenant onboarding and SOAR playbooks.
• Map controls to UAE regulatory frameworks (NESA, CBUAE, DESC, ADGM, DIFC, PDPL) and produce audit evidence.
• Set technical standards, mentor engineers and deliver training workshops for clients and partners.

Required profile

• 6+ years of cyber security experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE or GCC market.
• Hands‑on SIEM/SOC engineering (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar or equivalent) and SOAR playbook development.
• Proven track record of running POCs and delivering technical evaluations to client decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a current certification such as OSCP, CEH or CompTIA CySA+/Pentest+.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar.
• SOAR playbook creation and automation.
• Endpoint detection and response (EDR/XDR), privileged access management (PAM), email security/DMARC.
• Data loss prevention, data classification, vulnerability management, offensive validation.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance mapping.
