Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement a defense‑grade Data Lakehouse that will become the single source of truth for our AI‑driven supply‑chain platform. You will lead Workstream 1 – Data & Platform Foundations – and work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate complex enterprise systems and unstructured data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure, high‑performance Data Lakehouse environments supporting real‑time analytics and generative AI tools.
• Lead the technical execution of Workstream 1, mapping and integrating SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, PLM and other enterprise systems.
• Build ingestion pipelines that extract high‑volume transactional data and make it available near‑real‑time for forecasting models.
• Develop connectors for external market‑intelligence feeds such as S&P Global, Orbis and EcoVadis.
• Design a standardized procurement data model and taxonomy across multiple entities.
• Ensure data lineage, security and compliance with defense‑grade standards throughout the data lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating large‑scale data lakehouse or data‑warehouse solutions.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and PLM data structures.
• Strong background in building robust, secure data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience working in regulated or defense‑related environments is a plus.
