Senior E&I Inspector

About the role

The Senior E&I Inspector will lead inspection activities for new builds and brownfield modifications of electrical power distribution systems across 33 kV, 11 kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V networks. The role requires close collaboration with EPC contractors, manufacturers and client representatives to ensure compliance with design documentation and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect construction, testing and commissioning of switchgear, control gear, distribution boards, UPS, earthing, lighting and underground cabling.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Interpret and apply EPC and vendor design documents for DCS, ESD, fire‑and‑gas systems and control‑room architecture.
• Oversee modifications to existing systems and installation of new package‑boiler instrumentation.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure adherence to ISO, ASME, AWS, API, DNV and BS standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience liaising with EPC contractors, manufacturers and client teams during FAT/SAT.
• Strong knowledge of international codes (ISO, ASME, AWS, API, DNV, BS).
• Excellent spoken and written English; computer literate.
